Ecash transmitted via relays.
Nutzaps bring Cashu ecash into Nostr interactions. They let applications send and receive value through the same open network used for social messages.
Wallets and payments, working together
NIP-60 describes Cashu wallets on Nostr. NIP-61 describes nutzaps: ecash-based payments attached to people or events. Together, they provide common building blocks for clients integrating ecash.
From a standard to everyday clients
Both specifications were developed during SEC-02. Later work, including Wallnut in SEC-07, explores these flows inside Nostr applications.
